The English genius from Twilight has got it all. By the age of 22. About a million and a half girls were at Pattinson’s feet. He starred in Twilight and became the idol of the generation to which he had belonged not so long before.
At 25 he risked and became a disgusting, cruel misanthrope, at last showing himself not in an entertaining genre but in the screen adaptation of a classic novel. While we are waiting for ''Bel Ami'', the west is already groaning “what a bastard!”
Robert Pattinson was born in a suburb of London. He went to a boy’s school where he took part in amateur plays for the first time. From there he went to big screen. Supporting parts in ''The ring of the Nibelungs'' and ''Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'' made him slightly recognizable. Ok not slightly, already back then he was referred by press as “the next Jude Law”.
Not only the Twilight was the turning point, but also it exploded the life of the young shy guy. At first Pattinson hesitated whether he should go to the auditions, them he thought long whether he should axccept the role or not.
The adoration he get does not seem to appeal to him much. But saying that openly is rude so he complains about the intrusive paparazzi only once in a while.
Twilight concealed a lot of important things from the public. He has loads of other virtues and faults. For example he is a musician, he has been playing the piano and the guitar since childhood and is dreaming of making music part of his career. Not for money. Just because. He is adorably shy. While filming “Little Ashes” he was embarassed to do the erotic scenes of homosexual context, which amused the film crew a lot.
He is sociophobe, mainly because of Twilight. He avoids parties, frequently lives with his parents he prefers to spend evenings at home playing the guitar.
At last he is really handsome. Not just “sexy” as teenagers brand everything that moves, but attractive as an adult man.
Now the most wonderful and the most scary at the same time : he is just 25. Transition from a brooding vampire to Georges Duroy moved him from a teenager movie world into adult movies where there are higher demands and hust a glance is not enough. We want to believe that Robert Pattinson won’t be satisfied with MTV best kiss award.
Speaking of kisses. There is a doubt never confirmed that he did bite his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.
UMA THURMAN’S DAUGHTER IS MY FAN
Well no not really, she came to the set with a friend and I gave her an autograph. That’s kind of cool.
I SWEAR I HAD BEEN REFUSING TO DO AUDITION FOR THIS FILM FOR MONTHS.
The guy playing Edward should be a role model with ideal body and the ability to do all the stunts. And I don’t think that I am like that. And I thought for myself “Fine, I will go to the audition, be myself. That is the best to make them leave me alone.”
I CAN’T GET TANNED AT ALL.
I can spend hours sunbathing and my skin will be only slightly darker. I have tried different cream solarium but nothing works.

I often thought that being a musicial is the best profession in the world.I used to imagime myself playing at restaraunts on the beach. I have been playing the piano since I was five so music is part of me.
